Terms & Conditions

Article 1. Applicability

1.1 These general Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made by The Vintage Project.

1.2 By accepting an offer or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.3 Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing. In such cases, all remaining

provisions shall remain fully applicable.

1.4 All rights and entitlements granted to The Vintage Project under these terms, as well as any additional

agreements, also apply to any third parties or intermediaries engaged by The Vintage Project.

Article 2. Offers / agreements

2.1 An agreement is formed only after your order has been accepted by The Vintage Project. The Vintage

Project reserves the right to refuse any order or to impose specific conditions on delivery, unless

explicitly stated otherwise. If an order is not accepted, you will be notified within five (5) business days

of receipt.

Article 3. Prices and payments

3.1 All prices for the products and services offered are listed in euros. VAT is charged on second-hand

items. Any import duties or additional charges are the responsibility of the customer.

3.2 Payments can be made via iDEAL, PayPal, or bank transfer. For payments made by bank or giro

transfer, the payment date is considered the date on which the amount is credited to the bank account

of The Vintage Project.

3.3 If the payment deadline is exceeded, The Vintage Project reserves the right to cancel the order at its

discretion.

Article 4. Shipping, Delivery and Return

4.1 We ship worldwide.

4.2 We ship all our items with insurance via POSTNL or DHL. Shipping is at the buyer’s own risk. Once

payment has been received, the item will be shipped between 1 to 3 business days.

4.3 Shipping within Europe typically takes 2 to 5 business days. Shipping outside of Europe usually takes 5

to 10 business days. Please note that we are not responsible for any delays in delivery.

4.4 As soon as your item has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can track your order

at any time. Import duties, taxes, or any other costs related to importing the purchased item are not the

responsibility of The Vintage Project. These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please

make sure to check your country’s import regulations and duties, especially if you are ordering from

outside the European Union.

4.5 The Vintage Project is not responsible for misplaced or stolen packages once delivery has been

confirmed.

4.6 If the item you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you within 24 hours. Orders placed during the

weekend will be processed and shipped on business days, within 72 hours.

4.7 We do not accept returns on our products. Each product has its own unique wear, character, and

sometimes minor imperfections that contribute to its authenticity and charm, so they cannot be taken

back as sold. For authenticity and security reasons, every product is carefully inspected and sold

without the option for return, to prevent counterfeit issues. So since our products are one-of-a-kind

items that cannot be restocked, we do not offer exchanges or returns. If you have any questions about

Article 5. Reservation of Ownership

5.1 Ownership of the delivered products only transfers to you once all amounts owed to The Vintage

Project under any agreement have been paid in full. However, the risk associated with the products

passes to you at the moment of delivery.

Article 6. Intellectual and industrial property rights

6.1 You agree to fully and unconditionally respect all intellectual and industrial property rights related to

the products delivered by The Vintage Project.

6.2 The Vintage Project does not guarantee that the products delivered to you do not infringe upon any

(unregistered) intellectual or industrial property rights of third parties.

Article 7. Guarantee of Authenticity

7.1 The Vintage Project guarantees that the products delivered meet the usual quality standards, have no

defects, unless any defects are explicitly described in the product description.

7.2 If you have purchased an item from The Vintage Project and have doubts about its authenticity, please

that the costs for this service will be borne by the customer.

Article 8. Force Majeure

8.1 Without prejudice to any other rights it may have, The Vintage Project is entitled, at its sole discretion,

to suspend the execution of your order or to terminate the agreement without judicial intervention in

the event of force majeure. The Vintage Project will inform you of this in writing and will not be obliged

to pay any compensation, unless such refusal to pay compensation would be unreasonable according

to standards of reasonableness and fairness in the given circumstances.

8.2 Force majeure refers to any failure or delay in performance that cannot be attributed to The Vintage

Project, as it is neither due to its fault nor under its control according to law, legal act, or generally accepted principles.

Article 9. Miscellaneous

9.1 If you provide The Vintage Project with a written address, The Vintage Project is entitled to send all

orders to that address, unless you notify us in writing of a different shipping address.

9.2 If The Vintage Project allows any deviations from these Terms and Conditions—whether explicitly or

implicitly, and whether temporarily or over a longer period—this does not affect its right to demand

strict and immediate compliance at any time. You cannot derive any rights from the fact that The

Vintage Project may have been lenient in enforcing these terms.

9.3 The Vintage Project is authorized to engage third parties in the execution of your order(s).

Article 10. Applicable law and Jurisdiction

10.1 All rights, obligations, offers, orders, and agreements to which these Terms and Conditions apply,

along with the Terms and Conditions themselves, are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

10.2 Any disputes arising between the parties shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the

Netherlands.

Article 11. Copyright

12.1 All images and parts of images displayed on this website are protected by copyright. Copying,

reproducing, or distributing prints, images, or sections of text from downloadable documents is

strictly prohibited without the express permission of the author.
